LuLus, an online boutique for girls

Online shopping is commonly seen as a daunting way to purchase clothes and accessories, yet we all try it at least once.

There are many websites out there that are scams, show few or bad quality pictures, or don't give any help to customers with getting the size just right.  Then there are the online boutiques in which you so badly want to trust are legitimate because of the nice clothes they seem to be selling.

Sure enough you find your dream dress or a pair of sparkly high heels and all of a sudden you are clicking the "add to cart" button and entering your credit card number.

One day while distracting myself from doing anything productive, I was on Facebook and an ad popped up on the sidebar for a site called LuLus.com. It was pink and had a pretty dress in the picture so I just had to click on it! Before I knew it I was texting my best friend pictures of dresses that I was considering buying and later ended up purchasing one of them to wear for my senior cotillion in high school.

LuLu's features merchandise made by a variety of different designers, including Steve Madden, Brandy Melville, Bamboo, and many others. The shop only caters to women's fashion (sorry guys) selling dresses, clothes, and accessories. Everything is organized into categories, making it extremely easy and fun to shop online, especially if you are looking for something specific.

Every item sold on LuLu's has at least 3 or 4 images to show the piece in all different views giving customers a solid idea of what the texture of the fabric will be, and how it will fit.

I anxiously awaited the arrival of my new dress since I had never bought anything online from a store I did not already know my size in! The price was very low for a semi-formal dress (most of their dresses ranging from $35-$65.) I was extremely excited when I got it in the mail and it was of excellent quality.

The size chart that LuLu's provides works out quite well. It includes dress, bust, waist, hips and even a jean conversion chart! You're sure to always find your perfect size.  

Dresses are the main specialty of LuLu's, selling many unique designs, but they also have a great shoe section. The shoes have the same price range as the dresses (anywhere from $25-$80) but are majority on the more affordable end.

The only downside is the waiting time! Standard delivery usually takes a whole ten days.
