Hugo Boss

Inspired by Hugo Boss's "Boss Green" Women's collection 2011:

With the cold weather creeping up on Boston it's time to break out the sweaters, scarves and rain boots. This look from Hugo boss is practical and full of personality and can probably be found already in your own closet!

The staples of this look are also some of the staples of any college wardrobe! First and foremost, a good pair of dark wash jeans. This look isn't particular about the cut so feel free to try it with anything from boot cut to skinny jeans, maybe even jeggings! It's always great to find the high fashion in your own wardrobe.

Another basic piece that this look features is a solid colored turtleneck sweater.  Find one in a bright, jewel tone; like this Pink Mossimo Ultra-soft Turtleneck from Target. This could also, just as easily, be a piece that you could find in your own closet for the appealing price of free!

A good outfit always has that unique, distinguishing piece that really stands out. In this case it's the coat. And, with cold weather creeping up, why not make keeping warm look stylish?  Plaid has made a comeback this fall as a prominent pattern in Boss's collection and for the chic college girl, a great practical variant of the blazer shown on runways is a plaid pea-coat! This one from Delia's is a bit on the pricey side but you'll get style and use value for the price of one or the other.

To finish this look off, add your favorite solid or patterned scarf like this one from Target and step into these rain boots from DSW!
