House is Back!

We last left House as an emotional (and somewhat whipped) wreck. After losing Cuddy, he decided to crash his car into her house and flee the country to a tropical island for three months.
In the season eight premieres, titled "20 Vicodin", House is living out the consequences of his actions. After eight months in jail, the parole board gives him an opportunity for early release, due to "an order to reduce overcrowding" of the jail. He must return to the jail for five days to regain his freedom.
As soon as he is back into general population, the routine shakedowns begin. Inmates begin demanding things from him like his radio, food, and vicodin. As we all know, House is no pushover, but with the help of some new friends he keeps his composure. The episode follows House and friends in his journey to maintain "goodish behavior".
Can House make a successful comeback?
Some viewers think House lost his oomph since he formed a romantic relationship with Cuddy. Once their relationship flourished, he went soft. The end of the relationship and drastic actions by House in season seven may have been the writers giving us what we want. Have they realized that we need the old House back? And what better way to bring him back than to use the same formula that they have used for the past 7 seasons.
Strange Case + Skeptical Team = House is Right
A conveniently placed case lets us know the old House is back in action. Even while he is attempting to stay on his best behavior he can't help but break the rules to save a life and more importantly to prove he was right.
None of the original cast members are present in the season premiere. They introduce Dr. Jessica Adams, the jails doctors, as the anti-House. She is skeptical of him at first but he gains her trust, through his knowledge of the medical field and how well he reads people.
Where will the season go? The preview for next Monday's episode shows House back in civilization... but is it too soon?
