Best Buddies Will Host Carnival at Suffolk

Get to Know the Buddies at Best Buddies Suffolk University Carnival Event

Boston, Mass. – Best Buddies Suffolk University will host a Carnival event Sunday September 30, 2012 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Suffolk University’s Ridgeway gym. All are welcomed to attend the event and join in on the fun including carnival games with the best buddies. Food and drinks will be served throughout the event. Those who plan to be a part of Best Buddies will have the opportunity to meet with all the buddies.

Best Buddies is an organization allowing for individuals with special needs to have the opportunity to create a special bond with others. There are two different types of members in the organization: College Buddy and Associate Member. College Buddies are matched one to one with their buddy in order to create a special relationship. It involves two visits per month and one weekly phone call/e-mail/letter. An Associate Member does not have a one to one relationship with the buddies, but attends group events and helps with planning events. Best Buddies is always looking for new members to join.
