The World Cup continues as only eight teams remain. 

(06/02)  Netherlands vs. Brazil

These are two of the best teams in the tournament who will be fighting for the spot to advance.  Anything could happen but I see this game going into overtime and possibly penalty kicks as the Netherlands come out victorious.  Netherlands win and advance to the semifinals. 

(06/02) Uruguay vs. Ghana

The only African team left in the tournament will be facing one of the many great South American teams.  Although Ghana pulled out a win against the US, I don’t think they have what it takes to beat Uruguay.  Uruguay wins and advances to the semifinals

(06/03) Argentina vs. Germany

This may be the best match of the tournament.  Two great teams with extremely talented players and the ability to score when needed.  Look for it to be an extremely well played soccer game but I think Germany has something in store for Argentina.  Germany wins and advances to the semifinals. 

(06/03) Spain vs. Paraguay

Paraguay nearly beat Japan in penalties as Spain triumphed over the talented Portugal 1-0.  Both teams are playing well, but Spain is too dominant for Paraguay.  Look for Spain to continue to play great soccer and also for Torres to contribute more.  Spain wins and advances to the semifinals.
