This is the moment that we waited four years for.  On Sunday, a new team will be crowned World Champions.  Who will it be?

Spain vs. Netherlands

Regardless of the outcome, both teams definitely deserve to be in this position.  The Netherlands surprised everybody and continue to do so as they are playing great soccer which got them to this point.  Spain is also playing great soccer as a whole team displaying all of their talent and potential.  Along with picking a new champion, this game can tell us who will be awarded the Golden Ball as Wesley Sneijder and David Villa are the top two contenders. 

For the Netherlands to win they need to play defense for the full 90 minutes and try to control the ball.  For Spain to win, they need to continue to dominate the ball but they also need to make sure they build more scoring opportunities.  Spain has a great team defensively and their mid-field is probably one of the greatest, but when it comes to scoring opportunities they are not so proficient. 

It will be a great game but do not expect too many goals.  I think overall Spain is the better team and they will prove it once again, plus Paul the Octopus knows what he is talking about; and he picked Spain to win.  Spain will win the game and be crowned 2010 FIFA World Cup Champions !!
