LaDanian Tomlinson heading to the Big Apple

3/14/10 7:54 PM

On the same weekend that Jets head coach Rex Ryan undergoes a weight-loss surgery, the Jets agree on a two year deal with LaDainian Tomlinson.  The New York Jets had the number one rushing offense in the league last year, and LT is just going to be an addition to that.  Since the Jets no longer have Thomas Jones, Tomlinson will be sharing carries with Shonn Greene.  I believe that signing LT was a great move for the Jets who surprised the NFL last season and made it to the AFC championship game.  Tomlinson has experience which will be a positive asset to the young team.  By having Tomlinson it helps both running backs stay fresh and also adds a receiver because Tomlinson is dangerous when he comes out of the backfield for a pass.  ...
