Kreiling, a transfer student, compared Suffolk's SGA to that of her previous college, calling Suffolk's SGA "more exclusive." To make the group less exclusive, Kreiling would encourage outreach from each individual SGA member.

"I really think that if we have events and tabling... just continually being there, eventually people will start to feel that" the group is more accesible, said Kreiling.

She hopes to integrate new media outlets like Facebook and SUConnect in an effort to open up SGA's lines of communication and accessibility.

"it's a little hard to just go walk into a meeting," she said. "But being online, having that information accessible - having the minutes, having the e-mails, and having senator information and bios - really can make it so that you feel like you know who you're going to talk to."

Regarding SGA's image, Kreiling again described it as "exclusive."

"SGA, everyone knows, 'Oh those are the kids that hang out on the fourth floor in their suits'," she explained. "I go out and talk to everybody... and I really feel like that if more senators did that, we would have a student body that is more incorporated into SGA. I really think that I have the power and the ability to organize that."

This week, SGA Senator and Speaker for the Class of 2011 Bianca Kreiling sat down with the Voice's Ben Fountain to talk about her candidancy for SGA Secretary.
