This week, SGA Senator for the class of 2013 Brad Migliacci sat down with the Voice's Ben Fountain to talk about his candidacy for SGA Secretary.

Migliacci, a freshman, stressed that an important quality for the SGA to maintain is to be approachable.

"The current E-board does a very good job of that, absolutely, and I would like to continue that next year," he said.

He also talked about increasing the student body's awareness of the SGA.

"I've found that a lot of people around the school know we have a student government association, but they don't really know who's involved. They don't know the senators, they don't really know the e-board, and they don't really know what we do. They don't know how we can help them," he explained.

He also hopes to put out a bi-weekly or monthly SGA newsletter to keep students informed on the goings on of SGA that would be run on a subscription basis.
