Suffolk's Communications and Journalism department celebrated students' achievements in nine different visual media categories at last Thursday's Rammy Awards. The award show's third iteration was presented at the C. Walsh Theatre and was hosted by CJN professor Dr. Dana Rosengard.
The award show is a relatively new concept at Suffolk and has grown from humble beginnings in 2008. This year, over 100 submissions were entered into consideration, again pared down by a panel of judges. The night's entertainment included Suffolk performing groups Wicked and Vocal Bliss, and clips from nominated and winning videos were screened during the event.
