One thing that the Suffolk community could use more of is support towards our sports teams. When was the last time you attended a game? Or even a Suffolk Spirit night? Our fall and winter sports teams played very well this past year, and this spring our teams deserve to be rooted on by their fellow student body.

If you've ever played a sport or participated in any sort of competition, you know just how great it feels to have fans in the crowd cheering you on. Having a motivation like this makes athletes play better and want to win -- not only for their team but for their school.

If students begin to fully support Suffolk Athletics, not only would the teams play better but the events themselves would be very fun to go to and would bring the school together to create a closer community. We would no longer groan in agony when hearing that a team is playing that night, because if we became closer as a student body, attending games would be something to look forward to during the week.

This season, keep your eyes open for the Ram's schedules or ask an athlete when upcoming games are! Luckily, the majority of the teams that Suffolk plays are other Boston college teams, so they are an easy commute. Round up your friends and get everyone excited about Suffolk athletics.

Springtime is a time that should be enjoyed outside, and what could be better than sitting in the bleachers cheering on our baseball, softball, and tennis teams?
